“Zero Limits” may well be one of the most important and most profound books ever to have been written.
I realize that is quite a bold statement to make, but this book about the ancient Hawaiian healing system known as “Ho’oponopono,” has the potential to awaken and transform not only your own little world, but the entire planet, as well.
Yes, it is that powerful!
“Zero Limits” is the fascinating story of a mysterious Hawaiian psychologist named, Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, who famously healed an entire hospital of mentally ill criminals without ever having seen a single patient privately. Simply by practicing the Ho’oponopono method, he instead chose to focus on healing himself and, miraculously, it ended up transforming an entire hospital of both staff and patients!
The story also entails the lengths that author Joe Vitale went to in order to track down this amazing doctor, which subsequently began, for himself, a transforming journey of self-discovery and self-identity through Ho’oponopono.
As he states in the book, Joe absorbed enough of this Hawaiian healing system that eventually, he “became a guru of himself.” And, believe it or not, you can too!
Joe Vitale has authored many other inspirational books including The Attractor Factor; The Key: The Missing Secret for Attracting Anything You Want and was one of the stars of the smash hit DVD movie, The Secret, which became a media sensation in 2006.
I first heard of Joe Vitale through The Secret and he was one of my particular favorites of all that movie’s guest stars. So, I have to admit, I was rather surprised when this book slipped through my fingertips and it was not until six months later that I discovered its publication.
And thank goodness, am I glad I finally did!
Dr. Hew Len is a master teacher of what is known as Self Identity Ho’oponopono, which is a slightly modernized version of the more traditional Ho’oponopono that dates back centuries in ancient Hawaiian culture. (For more a more detailed explanation, visit the official web site.
The basis of Ho’oponopono is a very fundamental concept that can be for some, one of the greatest challenges to understand initially. And that is, in order to make changes, and indeed, create miracles in your life, you must take responsibility for everything that is in your life.
And that means EVERYTHING!
Your relationships, your spouse, your family, your job and, what may seem like completely randomly unrelated events going on around the world, such as, the war on terror, the government, the economy, and yes, even George W. Bush.
The theory is, if it is in your life, or more particularly, your experience, then you are responsible for it. All of it. Think about that one for a minute.
Now you may ask yourself, “how can I responsible for the war on terror or the government or things that I don’t feel any remote connection to whatsoever?” Well, as Dr. Hew Len points out, our reality exists on the inside of us, not the outside of us. So if you are seeing it or experiencing it, then, it is in your life.
The real power and the real healing takes place when you take total responsibility for everything in your life, because when you do that, you then have the power to change it or heal it.
Dr. Hew Len instructs that by simply saying to the Divine, four very simple phrases, ” I am sorry,” “please forgive me,” “thank you,” and “I love you,” it is possible to transform your entire life. Four simple phrases repeated over and over again like a mantra. He refers to this as a “cleaning process.”
By far the most powerful of the four phrases is “I love you” because Dr. Hew Len teaches that when you love something, you actually are using your personal power to change it.
By “cleaning” problems or circumstances in your life, you are turning them over to the Divine and asking It to find the solution because our conscience mind is simply too limited to accomplish this monumental task on its own. Eventually, this “cleaning process” neutralizes the problem and when it leaves you, it will ultimately, leave the entire planet.
Problems that show up in our lives are merely reminders of old “memories” that need to be healed. And the memories are ancient as well, having been passed down through generations of our families and ancestors. And we pick up memories like we do viruses.
By constantly cleaning, you erase the problem from your life. These techniques are amazingly simple, but at the same time, deeply profound. And miraculous!
I cannot recommend this book and the Ho’oponopono system of healing enough!! It is that revolutionary and, if you give it a real and honest chance within your own life, you will experience a transformation. I can confirm that on a personal level.
Wisely, Joe Vitale has realized that “The Secret” and some of his earlier books, simply did not go far enough in presenting the kinds of tools that Ho’oponopono can offer since he has discovered Dr. Hew Len.
But now, he has completely embraced the Ho’oponopono system in all-encompassing manner and he deserves tremendous admiration for understanding and recognizing the profound nature of these teachings.
